Children's Heart Surgery Fund volunteer

Want free tickets for England vs West Indies Test match at Headingley? Volunteer for a couple of hours before the game in exchange for a ticket to watch the entire day’s action!

The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF), which is one of the charities we are supporting this year, are looking for volunteers for each of the 5 matches on 25-29 August. This means you could watch the entire test for free and help an excellent cause at the same time!

Established in 1988, the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund at Leeds General Infirmary is a charity providing support for children and adults born with Congenital Heart Defects and their families.

They provide valuable equipment, resources and research, as well as providing a support service for both the children and their families along the way.

They are looking for last minute volunteers to go along and help out as a ‘Yorkie’ volunteer at the test matches. It’s guaranteed to be a fun volunteering role – you will meet loads of friendly people who are all there to enjoy the cricket, and hopefully cheers England on to a win!

You would be assisting from 8:30am until 11:15am, when the game starts. You also may be asked to help them cover lunch and tea (to be decided on the day), but in any case you can watch the whole match for free. Perfect for cricket fans and newbies alike!
