Elf Day Walk

Colleagues from across the University unleashed their inner Elf in support of the Alzheimer’s Society

Elf Day Walk - University of Leeds - In Supprt of the Alzheimer's Society

The MEETinLEEDS team, along with a merry band of Elves, got in the festive spirit by taking part in an Elf Walk around the University of Leeds campus on Friday 8th December.

34 staff, students and visitors to the University, along with Dexter the Beagle, raised over £200 at the event in support of the Alzheimer’s Society, with a number of attendees going the extra mile by going full Elf – take a look at the gallery below!

If you want to acquire some Elfen attire and donate to the Alzheimer’s Society at the same time, they have some amazing garments on their website, from which 100% of the profits go to helping fight dementia. Or you can simply donate because they are an amazing charity!

The walk took around 30 minutes, taking in the wonderful winter scenes around campus with expert guides from the Get Out Get Active team, returning to the Elf Grotto for well-earned refreshments and Festive treats! If you are interested in organising a similar event on the University of Leeds campus get in touch with the MEETinLEEDS team.
