New Software Goes Live
MEETinLEEDS new Aventri software has been tried, tested and approved this Easter
MEETinLEEDS has recently introduced Aventri, a conference management platform that supports the requirements of clients at the academic venue and ensures the best possible registration experience for delegates.
The implementation of Aventri came at a perfect time for the team with the busy Easter conference season ahead. Check out how Ros Bates, Conference & Events Manager at MEETinLEEDS, put Aventri to the test this Easter.
This Easter conference season has seen us trial our new conference management platform, Aventri. Following an 18 month tender process, Aventri proved to be the most versatile solution to meet and exceed the needs of our customers – and our team.
This Easter conference season we were proud to welcome 3,500 delegates from 43 countries to campus with 1095 delegates using our new registration platform.
The Aventri platform has been developed to enable us to provide registration for both simple and complex conferences, manage abstracts and provide website templates that can be adapted to suit the needs of both internal and external clients.
We have offered an event management service for many years now, and it has seen us run events at international destinations as well as here on campus. Managing all aspects of a conference keeps us close to the needs of our clients, and allows us to add value to the delegate experience. This Easter conference season we were proud to welcome 3,500 delegates from 43 countries to campus with 1095 delegates using our new registration platform.
One of the conferences, visiting Leeds for the first time in 20 years was British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes (BALEAP). The organisers kindly shared their thoughts on our service and our new investment.
“We found the system to be excellent for our needs as conference organisers. From the excellent website to managing the reviewers and submissions it was easy to navigate, professional looking, efficient and allowed us to manage all stages of preparing the conference.
“Reviewers were able to assess papers easily, submissions were easy to upload and it was easy to track submissions too.
“Reviewers and delegates who registered and/or submitted papers commented on how easy the system was to use.
“For us, the system allowed us to present a more professional, efficient and credible offering to the professional community.
“It helped establish our credibility as organisers.”
